Oil-gas separator filter element

Installation considerations
1. The seals should be placed correctly and should have electrostatic conductivity measures, and the oil-resistant seals can work normally at a high temperature of 120 ℃.
2. For vertically installed external intake oil, the oil return pipe must be long enough, and it should be placed directly into the oil, reaching the recess on the inclined surface of the bottom end cover.
3. Select high-quality lubricating oil. The lubricating oil system should not be mixed with any foreign matter, and the oil should be replaced regularly.
4. When installing the formal screw-in oil-gas separator, the oil return pipe must be placed at the bottom of the separator.

The oil separation pressure difference rises too fast
The oil separation pressure difference is formed when solid particles in the compressed air are trapped in the oil separation core filter layer.
1. Air filters and oil filters for air compressors have a certain life, and they must be replaced on time. Low-quality air filters and oil filters should not be used.
2. When the operating temperature of the compressor is high or the oil quality is low, the oil is easy to aging and oxidation, forming colloids, blocking and contaminating the filter element, causing the pressure difference to rise too fast.
3. The oil-gas separation tank of the air compressor should be drained regularly, otherwise the filter element is prone to corrosion.

Excessive fuel consumption (high exhaust gas oil content)
1. The oil return pipe is blocked or the oil return pipe does not work. In this case, a large amount of oil is stored in the oil separation core, and the oil is brought out by a large amount of gas.
2. Excessive oil filling in the oil tank leads to a high oil content in the gas entering the oil separator core, increasing the load on the oil separator core and reducing the separation effect.
3. The oil tank is poorly designed, with a small diameter oil-gas separator or a poor mechanical separation structure.
4. The oil separator core was not selected properly during the design process; the oil separator core was too small, resulting in poor separation effect.
5. Inappropriate materials for sealing rings and gaskets, poor oil resistance, or improper placement can lead to oil leakage at the seal.
6. When the compressor is used with reduced pressure, the exhaust volume increases, the separation effect of the filter element decreases, and the residual oil volume increases significantly.
7. When the compressor is working, the temperature is too high, the amount of oil evaporation is accelerated, and the oil mist concentration that reaches the oil separation core is large.
